Paint correction is the process of mechanically leveling the clear coat to remove defects: swirl marks, wash-induced scratches, buffer trails, water-spot etching, and light scuffs. It is measured, deliberate work — every panel is inspected with paint-depth readings and defect lighting before a single pass is made.
Depending on paint hardness and defect severity, we perform two or more stages of machine compounding and polishing, finishing with a refining polish that maximizes clarity. Corrected paint should always be protected — most clients pair correction with ceramic coating to lock in the result.
